What man doesn’t want to have great biceps? They make him appear larger, stronger, and more appealing to women. There is one critical mistake that many guys make when they work out their biceps that they should become aware of. This mistake is when they focus solely on working on their biceps, avoiding all other muscle groups. They consistently workout their biceps as much as they possibly can with the unfounded belief that more is better. By not giving the biceps a needed rest, these men will not see any results. Allow Your Biceps to Rest
As stated above, focusing on your biceps without giving them a rest actually hinders their growth. Essentially, you are harming yourself instead. Because biceps are one of the smallest muscle groups in the body, they do not require intensive workouts. You should not be doing more than two biceps workouts a week. In addition, you should not do more than three exercises and three sets.
Maintain the Proper Form
This means when you are working out your biceps, do not lift weights that are too heavy for you. If you cannot maintain your form without straining, the weights are too heavy at the moment. Do not let your pride cause you to harm your body. Remember that by lifting the proper weight, you will get bigger biceps faster. That should be incentive enough, right?
Also, do not swing the weights as this will slow down your biceps growth. Keep the weights at a level where you can do eight reps while maintaining proper form.
Sets and Reps
Most body builders do three set of six to twelve reps each. This is the quickest way for you to build your biceps swiftly. Any more or less won’t have quick results.
Change Your Workout Routine Once a Month
Every month, you should switch up your workout routine, because the biceps tend to conform to a workout routine. By doing different forms of biceps workouts each month, you will speed up the growth of your shapely biceps.

Although most men see pleasing results when implementing the above strategies, some men still have trouble getting the biceps they desire. If this is the case, you should try new training strategies. For example, workout both your biceps and back in the same workout.
If you want bigger biceps as quickly as possible, it is important that you allow your biceps to rest, maintain proper form, do the correct amount of series and reps, change your workout routine once a month, and implement new training strategies (when needed). Remember that you can always do something in excess. Make sure you are not overdoing your workouts, since that can hinder the growth of your muscles.
